  1. Understand recent laws that hinder the rights of transgender individuals in the United States and the implications of these laws for the transgender community's access to healthcare and other critical services.
  2. Discuss the implications of the overturning of Roe vs. Wade for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
  3. Explore the ethical obligations of physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains to engage in advocacy efforts to oppose and overturn laws that impede their ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to LGBTQIA+ patients.
